Spring '25

Yes - God has continued to keep our staff and kids safe! In the midst of all the nation has and is going through, they each continue to press on and hold on to Jesus!

As we go into spring, we are looking at getting ready for summer activities as well as navigating our way around staying safe and focused with the remaining school year. Our kid's home director wanted to share his heart with you.

It is hard to believe that this poor, gang ravaged nation was at one time the richest and most productive colony in the world. Haiti was known as "the pearl of the Antilles" and boasted of being number one in coffee exportation.

Yet today this small nation is in fear of being totally gone due to the extent of daily violence. Between July 2025 and February 2025, the UN reports that 4,239 people have lost their lives. More than one million people are now displaced with 40,000 of that amount being reported to have happened just in recent weeks alone.

It is estimated that 5.5 million people face acute food insecurity. Two million have been reduced to emergency hunger levels. Half of health facilities in the capital area are fully operational while others have closed due to insecurity or gang infestation
